HPC high-pressure M-type Burners are recommended for surface where low heat is required at centre. They produce sunflower shaped flame. HPC Gas Industrial Burners M Type Burner are recommended to be used at a pressure of0.3 kgf/cm2(4.5 psig). Use of these burners at pressure higher than0.42 kgf/cm2 (6 psig), will result in wastage of gas. At a pressure of20 psig (1 .40 kgf/cm\ the gas consumption per hour will be double.
- The nomenclature M-22 and M-35 is derived from the gas consumption, which is 2.2 lb/hr for 22, and 3.5 lb/hr for M-35, while M stand for Marguerite.
- The burner rated heat output are valid for altitudes up to 2000 ft above sea level. If altitude up to than 2000 ft, rated heat outputs should be reduced at 4% per extra 1000 ft altitude.
- LPG M Type Burner made up of Brass are recommended to be used at 0.3 kgf/cm2 However, this may be increased by 50%, the heat output being varied accordingly.
